So I've been very interested in art style lately. What I love most about art is its diversity, and how each artist can create beautiful works of art in their own style. I stalk a lot of artists and I can usually spot which drawing is whose based on their style of coloring/lining/body proportions/faces/composition/etc. It made me think a lot about how my style appears to others and I've actually pestered some of my friends asking about it. My style has changed a lot but some things have stayed consistent - the way I draw and color hair, thin and usually long bodies, the faces, and I like to make things look decorative most of the time (don't like negative space).
Anyway, a question to my watchers (and to anyone who finds this journal lol):How would you describe your art style?
What would you say is so unique about it?
Do you struggle with recognizing your style? (If that's the case, I'd be happy to browse your gallery and tell you. Sometimes others can spot things you wouldn't have spotted. <3)
And is there a particular artist that has a very unique style you look up to? I'd love to check out their gallery and find new artists
to stalk.
